Fridge delivery, madame...

The last time I saw Beth, just about a year ago

So we're on the bus riding out to our apartment last night when Jonathan tells me that, "Beth sent you a fridge." I was totally confused, so he repeated it. Still didn't get it, so he said, "A package arrived today. Beth sent you a HUGE package - the size of a fridge!" I was so excited and could not wait to get home and open it!

You see, my cousin-in-law Beth is one of the most thoughtful people I know. (Stephen acted brilliantly when he married her.) And any gift from her is extra-special and meaningful.

The 'fridge' box sent from Beth

Blurry action shot of me lugging it over to the couch

Opening the box with my bare teeth. (Just kidding. There are scissors in hand.)

Unwrapping items for each of the 12 days of Christmas - yes, I opened them all at once.

My new topper!

Beth sent us mugs to remind us of Holly Hill, aka the Borders family estate

Holly Hill

Such a precious gift. It's a framed piece of wallpaper from my grandparents' house, which Stephen and Beth are remodeling (to put it mildly!). See photos here.

Heck yeah, buddy! Two boxes of Frosted Shredded Wheat. I had a bowl with dinner and then some of the delicious peppermint bark she sent for dessert.

With all my 12 days of Christmas goodies - isn't she unbelievable?!

Cousins night out last Christmas

Thank you, Beth. Thank you so much!
