Hahahahaha! Thanks for the 9:30am (feels like 6am) chuckle!
We saw an authentic yellow and black SCHOOL BUS in our neighborhood here in Budapest 2 years ago and followed it for a couple of blocks to see where it was going. Unfortunately, it was going in the opposite direction from where we needed to go so we had to quit the chase. Haven't seen it since but it sure was cool to see that one time!
Very American??
SCHOOL BUS!? In English?

I was just flipping thru the program for this year's "les nuits de fourvière" and saw that one of the events is a play based on the novel "The Sweet Hereafter" by American author Russel Banks, which is a book based on a school bus crash in Texas.
I went to one show up at the amphitheater for last year's fête, and while originally it seemed pretty cool, I quickly decided that 2,000 year old stone blocks do not make for a very comfortable 2 hours of music or entertainment :-/ Bring some cushions!
